Nepenthes villosa, commonly known as the villose pitcher plant, is a world-renowned ultra-highland carnivorous tropical pitcher plant endemic to Mount Kinabalu and Mount Tambuyukon in Sabah, Borneo. Named after the Latin word villosa (meaning "hairy"), it is famous for its densely hairy leaves and its highly developed, intricately ribbed, toothy peristome. It grows at higher altitudes than any other Bornean Nepenthes species, thriving in cold cloud forests at elevations up to 3,200 meters
