To ensure your Black Orchid thrives, please follow these specific Catasetum growth phases:
1. Growing Season (Spring - Summer):
Watering: Once new roots are 3-5 inches long, water heavily. Do not let the media dry out.
Light: Bright indirect light (similar to Cattleya levels).
Fertilizer: High-nitrogen fertilizer weekly to build strong pseudobulbs.
2. Dormancy Phase (Late Autumn - Winter):
The Change: Leaves will yellow and drop—this is normal!
